Join us for a special day tour:
Dear Friends,
With our vaccines and green pass in tow, we can now enjoy a bit of freedom… a few of us have worked on planning some exciting day trips that will be both stimulating and enjoyable. We have formed a non-profit group and we would like to share these trips with our friends. We have planned programs that enable leisure touring to places that are somewhat unique and that offer recent updates that you may not as yet have seen.
Our first tour, on May 20th will explore the Security barrier between Israel and our “neighbors.” It will be led by Dr. Danny Tirza, a retired colonel in the Israeli army, who was in charge of planning and carrying out the construction of the Security Fence – the largest security infrastructure project in Israel. We will drive along a partial route of this project making stops along the way which overlook the strategic locations in Gilo, Bethlehem and the Haas Promenade.
Our tour will continue to the Etzion Bloc where we will have lunch. (You can either “brown bag” it or purchase fast food at the Gush mall.)
The next stop will be the NEW audiovisual program at the Kibbutz Kfar Etzion Heritage Center which tells the dramatic story of the Jewish communities that were destroyed in Gush Etzion in 1948. This updated program is highly recommended. We will be inspired by the stories of these dedicated Jewish heroes.
We will end our day at the beautiful Gush Etzion Winery for a short tour and wine tasting.
We encourage you to invite your family and friends to share this program with us. To reserve your place and receive additional information please call one of us listed below.
We hope you’ll join us for this exciting, emotional and fun day.
