Donations

 

We would like to stress to members that the money received from membership and seat fees covers just over 50% of the annual expenses of the Bet Knesset and that the deficit needs to be covered by donations from the congregation especially for Aliyot, Smachot, Yizkor and Yahrzeits.

In recent years we have carried out major renovations to the building and have installed an elevator making all levels of the building accessible to all our members. We also carried our extensive repairs to the floor of the Blondheim Hall, a new kitchen and a total makeover.  We thank all those who have contributed generously to these repairs and would urge those who have not yet contributed to take this opportunity to do so. This would be greatly appreciated. Our next project is to replace the Ezrat Nashim seats in the main service.
