Tekiat Shofar

Dear Hovevei Community, We hope you are all well and getting through these very difficult times. Our plans for High Holyday davening are still tentative and they will depend a lot of what the Ministry of Health regulations will be. We know that many of you will not be able to join us in shul, certainly those of you who are high risk. Because the first day of Rosh Hashana falls on Shabbat this year, the mitzvah of tekiat shofar will be on the second day only. If you are unable to attend a minyan and hear the shofar, please contact Shul Chairman Avraham Samson at tekiat.shofar@gmail.com  . The shul will provide somebody to blow the shofar in your courtyard or in your home Ketiva v'Chatima Tova
