The Vaad
A shul is considered a mini beit mikdash, a place in which the Shechina dwells among us.
We closed our cherished shul to preserve life. We now open our beloved shul (according to the government's directives) to sustain Israel’s eternal existence.
May Hashem guide us and give us the strength to “exalt the house of Hashem and rebuild…” (Ezra 9: 9) with love and devotion.
Still, we must make sure to "safeguard [our bodies and] our souls" as much as possible. Hence halachically one must adhere to the government's guidelines.
Those who plan on participating in the shul’s minyanim should do so with the proper joy and intent to strengthen, elevate, and glorify the sanctity of Israel. "Seek Hashem where he is found, call to Him while he is near” (Isaiah 55:6).

היו בריאים,
ועד בית הכנסת
לכבוד הקהילה הקדושה והנכבדה,
בית הכנסת הוא מקום משכנו של ה' בבחינת מקדש מעט.
סגרנו את בית הכנסת כדי לשמור על חיים. אנו פותחים את בית הכנסת (לפי הנחיות הממשלה) כדי לשמור על חיי נצח ישראל.
שנזכה היום לְרוֹמֵם אֶת בֵּית אֱ-לֹהֵינוּ וּלְהַעֲמִיד אֶת חָרְבֹתָיו (עזרא ט, ט) באהבה וברצון.
ועדיין יש להשתדל ככל האפשר על "ונשמרתם מאד לנפשותיכם". ועל כן מבחינה הלכתית יש להישמע לכל ההנחיות של הממשלה ולהקפיד עליהן.
מי שמתכוון להגיע לבית הכנסת שיעשה זאת בשמחה הראויה, כדי לחזק, לפאר ולהאדיר את קדושת עם ישראל המבקש את ה'. "דרשו את ה' בהמצאו, קראוהו בהיותו קרוב" (ישעיהו נה: ו).
