Dear Kehilla,
In these times we must daven a little harder. Remember that Hashem is watching over us and that our brave soldiers are working tirelessly to protect us. We should keep in our tefillot all those soldiers, as well the families who are spending their days and nights in shelters, who are missing work, staying home from school, hearing boom after boom, and wondering where the next missile will fall.
No child should be forced to get used to such a harsh reality, but we only hope that the time spent in the shelters is made ever so slightly brighter by using the packets that were distributed.
"Hashem endows might to His people, Hashem blesses His people with peace," "Hashem oz l'amo yiten, Hashem yevarech et amo bashalom"- Psalms 29:11.

קהילה יקרה,
בשעות אלו אנו חייבים להתפלל עם יותר כוונה. נזכור שהקב"ה שומר עלינו ומשגיח על חיילינו האמיצים שעושים לילות כימים להגן על עם ישראל ללא הרף. נתפלל למען החיילים, כמו גם עבור המשפחות אשר מבלים את ימיהם ולילותיהם במקלטים, ללא היכולת לעבוד, ולחיות חיי שגרה. הילדים אינם לומדים בבית הספר, שומעים בום אחר בום, בתהייה היכן ייפול הטיל הבא.
אמנם אין זה הוגן שהילדים כבר רגילים למציאות קשה זו, אך אני מקווה לפחות לילדי שדרות הזמן המושקע במקלטים נעשה טיפה קל יותר בזכות החבילות שקנינו להם.
ה' עֹז לְעַמּוֹ יִתֵּן ה' יְבָרֵךְ אֶת עַמּוֹ בַשָּׁלוֹם (תהילים כט, יא).
