The online DONOR/MEMBER & HHD seats registration form for 5786, which may be filled out on your computer or cellular device, can be accessed by the link:
When form is complete, just SUBMIT and it will be forwarded to our server.
Be sure all required fields with * are filled out or Google will not accept the form. After processing, the system will send an acknowledgement by email.
Donations
We would like to stress to members that the money received from membership and seat fees covers just over 50% of the annual expenses of the Bet Knesset and that the deficit needs to be covered by donations from the congregation especially for Aliyot, Smachot, Yizkor and Yahrzeits.
Every year we carry out essential renovations and improvements in the building. This year we would like to focus on improvements for the elevator, turning the old heating room on the side of the Mishkan Daniel into a small kitchenette, and we are also looking at options for renovation in Mishkan Daniel. We thank all those who have generously donated to these important needs, and we ask those who are interested to take advantage of this opportunity and donate.
Methods for payment of membership, dues & donations for Israeli tax receipts per Tax section 46 (see Special Notice below):

Option 3) A check payable to Hazvi Israel, drawn on Israel or US bank, sent by regular mail to the shul address or delivered directly to the shul.

SPECIAL NOTICE: During the 2025 tax year, the Tax Authority has actively implemented policies and procedures for public institutions that have approval under section 46 of the Income Tax Ordinance to issue receipts to donors through the Tax Authority's “Digital Donation System”. The system assigns a unique registration number to each receipt for a donation generated from the Hazvi Israel computerized software and automatically transfers the receipt details to the Tax Authority. The unique registration number will appear on the receipt for a donation in addition to the reference number. The receipt details are stored in the donor's personal area and can be used for tax coordination, tax return and in the future even for automatic credit by the employer.

For Hazvi Israel to comply with the rules for issuing receipts, and for donors to receive their tax credit, all donations must include the following:
· Israel ID Number
· Hebrew Name as it appears on Israel ID
· English Name and telephone number (for Hazvi Israel internal use only)
To meet our obligations, last year we partially upgraded our receipt system database with the correct ID information for all donors and members using the new Google online membership and donor registration form. This year, we will use the form for 5786. All Israeli citizens are advised to register and gain access to their personal file on the government website (אזור אישי). Anonymous donations (no Israel ID number) may still be made.
Instructions for donations to receive a 501c US tax receipt
If you require a 501c US tax receipt, then please use PEF Israel Endowment Fund. You have the option to make a bank transfer or simply perform a transaction by credit card from their website.
The following are basic instructions:
If you go to their website https://pefisrael.org/ you will see an explanation about donations, but essentially, they are moving online to either credit card or bank transfer grants.
For credit/debit card:
Use the “Donate Now” button in the lower right of their main web page to make the donation. Please note that the credit card service used by PEF deducts a 3.5% fee.
On the next screen, enter our organization ID number 58-0012722 and then select “Beit Haknesset Hatzvi Israel”. You will then see our organization registration page, scroll down and select the “Donate Now” button.
A new window will open which allows you to enter the US$ amount. Then “Donate Now” to move to the next window where you enter your personal details. Once all information is entered you move to the final screen to enter credit card details and complete the transaction.
For Bank Transfer (The preferred option, as no fees are deducted):The FIRST task is for you to send an email to info@pefisrael.org to notify that you intend to make a bank transfer. PEF will then send you the bank account information and further instructions. We recommend the email should contain the following wording:
SUBJECT: Notification for Bank Transfer in favor of Beit Haknesset Hatzvi Yisrael, Jerusalem
BODY OF MESSAGE: We, (your name/organization, address) wish to receive instructions to perform a bank/wire transfer donation to PEF in favor of Beit Haknesset Hatzvi Yisrael, POB 4400, Jerusalem, Israel, Tax ID: 58-0012722.
If you do not have access or cannot complete the online form, you may print the offline copy of the form attached below, clearly fill in the fields by typing or by hand manually and send a scanned copy by email to:

להלן הנחיות והסבר לחידוש החברות, הזמנת מקומות ישיבה לימים נוראים והעברת תרומות לבית הכנסת.

תרומות
הננו מעוניינים להביא לידיעת חברי בית הכנסת, כי ההכנסה של בית הכנסת מדמי חבר ודמי המקומות, תכסה רק כ- %50 מהעלות השנתית של הוצאות בית הכנסת, והיתרה צריכה להיות מכוסה מתרומות של חברים, ובמיוחד מעליות לתורה, שמחות, יזכור וימי זיכרון (יורצאייט).
בשנים האחרונות ביצענו שיפוצים הכרחיים בבניין. היעדיים העדכניים הינם שיפוצים הכרחיים ושדרוג המעלית, הפיכת חדר ההסקה הישן הצמוד למשכן דניאל למטבחון וכן שיפוצים כלליים של משכן דניאל. אנו מודים לכל אלה שתרמו בנדיבות לתיקונים אלה, ומבקשים מאלו שעדיין לא תרמו לנצל הזדמנות זו ולתרום. כל סכום יתקבל בברכה.
התרומות מוכרות לעניין תרומות (סעיף 46 לפקודת מס הכנסה).
תשלום עבור דמי חברות מושבים ותרומות יכול להתבצע בכל אחת מהדרכים הבאות:

הודעה מיוחדת:במהלך שנת המס 2025, רשות המסים יישמה באופן אקטיבי מדיניות ונהלים עבור מוסדות ציבור שיש להם אישור לפי סעיף 46 לפקודת מס הכנסה להנפיק קבלות לתורמים באמצעות "מערכת התרומות הדיגיטלית" של רשות המסים. המערכת מקצה מספר רישום ייחודי לכל קבלה על תרומה המופקת מהתוכנה הממוחשבת של חצבי ישראל ומעבירה באופן אוטומטי את פרטי הקבלה לרשות המסים. מספר הרישום הייחודי יופיע בקבלה לתרומה בנוסף למספר הסימוכין. פרטי הקבלה נשמרים באזור האישי של התורם ויכולים לשמש לתיאום מס, החזרי מס ובעתיד אף לזיכוי אוטומטי על ידי המעסיק.

כדי ש"הצבי ישראל" יעמוד בכללים להנפקת קבלות, וכדי שהתורמים יקבלו את זיכוי המס שלהם, כל התרומות חייבות לכלול את הפרטים הבאים:
· מספר תעודת זהות ישראלית
· שם עברי כפי שהוא מופיע בתעודת הזהות
· שם ומספר טלפון באנגלית (לשימוש פנימי של הצבי ישראל בלבד)
כדי לעמוד בהתחייבויות שלנו, בשנה שעברה שדרגנו חלקית את מסד הנתונים של מערכת הקבלות שלנו עם פרטי הזיהוי המעודכנים של כל התורמים והחברים באמצעות טופס החברות המקוון החדש של Google ורישום תורמים. השנה, נשתמש בטופס עבור תשפ"ו. מומלץ לכל אזרחי ישראל להירשם ולקבל גישה לתיק האישי שלהם באתר הממשלתי (אזור אישי). לידיעתכם, קיימת עדיין האפשרות לתרום תרומות אנונימיות (ללא מספר תעודת זהות).
